1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RedNoteDL, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. About RedNoteDL

RedNoteDL is a browser-based utility designed to retrieve media made publicly available through supported Rednote and Xiaohongshu post links. The service may provide videos, images, galleries, or other files when they are technically available from the public source.

RedNoteDL is not designed to bypass authentication, private accounts, access controls, regional restrictions, digital rights management, or other platform protections. It is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Rednote or Xiaohongshu.

3. Permitted Use

The service is intended for lawful, personal, and authorized use. You may download content only if you own it, have permission to download it, it is in the public domain, it is licensed for your intended use, or you are otherwise legally entitled to access and use it.

Public availability or technical downloadability does not mean that media is free from copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other restrictions.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, copyright rules, and platform terms.
• Submit only URLs that you are legally permitted to access.
• Obtain any permission required to download, store, reproduce, edit, publish, share, or commercially use media.
• Respect copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and other rights.
• Take responsibility for the content you download and for any subsequent use of that content.

5. Prohibited Uses

• Infringing copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Accessing private, deleted, restricted, authentication-only, or otherwise protected content.
• Bypassing security measures, access controls, rate limits, platform protections, or anti-abuse systems.
• Conducting excessive automated requests, scraping, crawling, harvesting, or bulk downloading.
• Distributing malware, phishing content, malicious code, or unsafe links.
• Interfering with, overloading, damaging, reverse engineering, reselling, mirroring, or commercially exploiting the service without written permission.
• Using the service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or harmful activity.

6. Third-Party Content and Intellectual Property

Media retrieved through RedNoteDL originates from third-party platforms and creators. RedNoteDL does not claim ownership of third-party media and does not grant you any intellectual property or reuse rights in that media.

You are responsible for determining whether your download or subsequent use is authorized, licensed, in the public domain, covered by a legal exception, or otherwise lawful. Information on this site about copyright and permissions is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.

7. Copyright and Rights Complaints

If you are a rights holder or authorized representative and believe that use of the service raises a specific copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights concern, use the Contact Us page in the footer.

Include the protected work or right involved, the relevant Rednote or Xiaohongshu URL, the nature of the complaint, your contact information, your relationship to the rights holder, a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized, and any other information reasonably needed to review the request.

We may investigate, restrict processing of a reported URL, request additional information, preserve relevant records, or take other reasonable action. RedNoteDL does not control source content; removal of the original post must also be requested from the platform that hosts it.

8. Privacy, Advertising, and Third-Party Services

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed. The service may include third-party analytics, advertising, consent-management, communications, hosting, and security technologies governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, support for every URL, any particular quality or format, complete results, or compatibility with every browser, device, region, network, or platform configuration.

We may add, remove, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, supported formats, request limits, pages, or any part of the service when reasonably necessary for technical, security, legal, moderation, or operational reasons.

10. Enforcement

We may reject requests, apply technical limits, block access, or suspend use when we reasonably believe that these Terms have been violated, the service is being abused, our infrastructure is at risk, or a request creates legal or security concerns.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, result accuracy, content availability, compatibility, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement arising from your use of third-party content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedNoteDL and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including loss of files, data, profits, opportunities, or access. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, technology, law, providers, or our practices. The date above shows the latest revision. Your continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
