1. Who We Are

RedNoteDL is a browser-based utility for retrieving media made publicly available through supported Rednote and Xiaohongshu post links. The service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Rednote or Xiaohongshu.

2. Information We Process

When you submit a public post URL, we process that URL to locate available media and return download options. Submitted URLs may appear in operational, error, security, or abuse-prevention records.

We may process technical information such as your IP address, approximate region, browser, device, operating system, language, referring page, requested resources, timestamps, network metadata, and interactions with site features.

If you contact us, we process the name, email address, message, submitted URLs, and other details you choose to provide. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

We do not ask for your Rednote or Xiaohongshu password, private messages, or non-public account data through this service.

3. Media Processing and Temporary Storage

RedNoteDL is not a permanent media-hosting or cloud-storage service. Requested media may be transmitted through or temporarily cached by our servers or infrastructure to complete a download, improve reliability, prevent repeated upstream requests, or diagnose a problem.

Temporary media and cache entries are scheduled to expire or be removed automatically. Limited records may be kept longer when reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.

4. How We Use Information

• Provide the downloader and return available media information and files.
• Apply rate limits, detect automated abuse, prevent attacks, and protect the service.
• Maintain compatibility, monitor reliability, investigate errors, and improve performance.
• Respond to support requests, copyright complaints, legal notices, and other messages.
• Measure site usage and, when enabled, display and measure advertising.
• Comply with applicable law and protect the rights, safety, and security of users, rights holders, and the service.

5. Analytics, Advertising, Security, and Communications Providers

We use Google Analytics to understand visits, referrals, approximate location, device characteristics, and interactions with the site. We use Microsoft Clarity to analyze aggregate usage and improve the interface. These services may use cookies, local storage, pixels, IP addresses, and similar identifiers, subject to their own policies and the consent choices available to you.

Cloudflare Turnstile may process device, network, and interaction signals to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. Contact-form notifications may be delivered to the service operator through Telegram.

If Google AdSense advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, personalize, limit, and measure ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies based on visits to this and other websites. You can manage these choices through the available consent and ad-personalization controls.

6. Cookies and Consent Choices

RedNoteDL and its providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for language preferences, security, analytics, consent management, and advertising. You can manage non-essential technologies through the consent controls presented where required and through your browser settings.

Where applicable, withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the withdrawal. Blocking some technologies may affect analytics, advertising, security checks, or site functionality.

7. How We Share Information

We do not directly sell personal information for money. We share information or allow it to be processed only when necessary to operate the service. This may involve hosting, network, analytics, advertising, consent-management, security, communications, and infrastructure providers, as well as supported source platforms when we retrieve public media. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.

Providers may process information in countries other than yours and operate under their own privacy notices. Advertising or analytics activity may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some privacy laws even when no money is paid for a specific person's information.

8. Data Retention

Temporary files and cache entries are retained only for a limited operational period. Server logs, submitted URLs, security records, contact messages, and provider data are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, under applicable provider settings, to meet legal obligations, or to resolve disputes.

Information may be aggregated or anonymized, and it may be retained longer where required for security investigations, litigation, regulatory obligations, or other legitimate record keeping.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, access controls, request limits, monitoring, and abuse-prevention measures. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive certain personal information; object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing; and complain to a supervisory authority. 11. Children's Privacy

The service is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age permitted by applicable law. Contact us if you believe that a child has submitted personal information in violation of applicable law.

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the service, providers, technology, law, or our practices. The date above shows the latest revision. Material notices will be provided where required by law.
